The Half Moon Opera table lamp fromKarboxx has been designed by Enrico Franzolini with Vicente Garcia Jimenez. This table mounted luminaire is great for halogen lighting. The Half Moon opera is composed of a shade in screen-printed canvas, in black on white and black on red. Stem in carbon and base in black-painted aluminium. A variation on the strict asceticism of the original lamp in carbon fibre. A white page on which well-known artists and designers can confront each other, invited each year to “sign” Opera. A silk-screen print on canvas, not intended as mere decoration but instead a high-level demonstration of how art and design can be combined.
