Cristian Malisan was born in Udine (Italy) in 1975. He studied the art of metals and jewelry in the Art Institute of Udine. He entered the Architecture University of Venice (Italia) and collaborated with some jewelry ateliers where he learned the artisan techniques. On 2002 he started a long collaboration with Enrico Franzolini’s studio in the architectural field and design of products and interiors. During the collaboration he won the contest for the design of the outdoor area and main Hall of the Hypo Alpe Adria in Klagenfurt (Austria). He graduated in Industrial Design by the University of Venice IUAV in 2004 and participated in International Exhibitions on the design sector, like “S-Key” (coordinated by M. De Lucchi in the Triennale of Milano, where he presents a product made by Andrómeda Murano) and “Est-Est-Est” (parallel event to Promosedia). On 2006 he set up his own studio in Udine, he worked with big firms in the furniture sector like Accademia, Adotta, Bross and Potocco.
