Tim Derhaag


Tim Derhaag is born on 9th June 1974. He likes to draw so he goes to art school. Still in school he receives his first project from Jasper Morrison, designing a bar in London. After graduating MA at the Royal College of Art in London, he continues working as a freelance designer before he moves to Amsterdam, founding TIMDERHAAG design studio.




Since he creates concepts for product & interior design collaborating with private and corporate clients worldwide. Tim Derhaag meets FLOS in Bovezzo in the summer of 2002 and the 45 outdoor lighting collections are presented in Milanin 2004. He was nominated for the Compasso D’Oro in 2008. In 2009 he presents the Fool Moon lamp during Euroluce in Milan.
