The Ami Ami Chair from Kartell was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka. This modern chair is reproducing one of the stylistic icons typical of designer's country, weaving and is reproducing the proper occasion for a meeting between oriental culture and modern and innovative materials such as polycarbonate. The Ami Ami is a play between the warp and the weft in cloth. Ami Ami is constructed from a contrast between simple squared off lines and the richness of the weaving using a single mold. This comfortable chair may be achieved in matte version, red, black and white, and transparent version, crystal and smoke. Kartell products ship within the U.S. and Canada only.
