Moooi was founded in 2001 by none other than Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers. They chose the name Mooo as it means "beautiful" in their native Dutch, they have added an extra "o" to emphasize beauty. Clever, no? Besides showcasing work from Marcel Wanders, Moooi has a vast portfolio including designs from other notable designers.
