Pilastro Stool

The Pilastro Stool has been designed by Ettore Sottsass and manufactured by Kartell from Italy. A glossy diamond shape is applied over three matte opaque tiers to give the Pilastro Stool a two-toned look. The stools geometric silhouette appears to be stacked although it is a playful solid piece. Pilastro would serve as a great ice-breaker in any environment. The shape of the stool is reminiscent of an ancient pillar (Italian: Pilastro), which has been catapulted through the bright colours and the techno-polymer of the modern era.
