Axel Meise has been a lighting designer in a world of architecture and design, which postulated a homogeneous, comprehensive design. He was amazed by the esthetic proliferation of a wide range of different light sources and lights in private and public rooms. He put the first sketches of a modular lighting system to paper in the mid 1990s. At the end of the 90s Occhio (ital. "eye") was born, the fruit of his many years of preoccupation with light. This was at the same time the start of a continuous innovation process and a constant stream of new design and application solutions: light is evolution.
