The Caboche Piccola chandelier by Foscarini is one of the successful Caboche series by Foscarini. This beautiful light is designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto in 2005. This spectacular chandelier is composed by transparent globes made of polymethylmethacrylate. A shade in white matt finish glass offers direct upward and downward light projection and diffusion throughout the space. Sophisticated, brilliant and multi-faceted, the Caboche ceiling lamp is a mosaic of refractions, a perfect fusion of various personalities within a single form, that combine to create the body and lighting effect of the lamp.
The 189 transparent polymethylmethacrylate balls multiply the brightness of the central lighting source and being arranged with a characteristic ring layout, they allow strong lighting reflected off the ceiling and directed onto the surface below.
The lighting source is a halogen bulb, whose flow is left free to illuminate all around: the upper matt white glass screen guarantees optimum diffusion of light upwards, and the lower screen has a concave form to shield the bulb and prevent dazzling, thus making Caboche ideal for use above dining room tables. Furthermore, despite its high personal charge, the lamp's transparency multiplies color combination potential, for use in the home or in sophisticated, exclusive public areas.
