The series 500 is the high-tech version in the Lucenera line. The use of low voltage 12 V - 50W bulbs with a 10° dish and the possibility to increase or decrease the volume of the light beam make this a highly practical work tool for lighting professionals. Its simplicity and versatility make it the ideal system for lighting display areas, exhibitions, shops, restaurants and bars. Magical in both domestic and work environments.

The Lucenera 507 floor lamp features two black, unidirectional fibre tubes with high heat resistance. The base consists of rubber black painted steel with a black Dekabon tube and shiny nickel brass details. It comes with an electronic 120W dimmer.

Carlo Catellani was born in Parma in 1960. After leaving school, he started a career as a smith in a workshop in Fornovo. Logan Smith, born in London in 1931, graduated in architecture from Cambridge and soon, due to his love to the world of horses, specialised in the renovation of race tracks and horse clubs. Then the two met in Minorca in the summer of 1985 to a big horse race. The extraordinary euphoria of those evenings gave rise to the idea of designing and producing decorative lamps and everyday objects. This was the founding of Catellani & Smith, where products are crafted with the hands and the mind.
