The Propeller ceiling fan from Serien Lighting has been designed by Yaacov Kaufman. This ceiling mounted luminaire is great for incandescent lighting. The Propellor is constructed of a fabric cover which is 80% polyamide and 20% elastan. The structure of the fan is composed of brushed aluminium and spring wire steel. Fabric is quite simply placed over a thin spring wire. In this way room for a bulb is created in the corpus. In line with its delicate frame the light is very soft and gentle. As a fan the design functions extremely well in dispelling air. The number of revolutions and the light are regulated by remote control. Backward motion can be set manually on the cover (for changing between summer and winter operation) and the fabric cover removable. The Propeller ceiling fan exhibits a graceful and ingenuitive design, along with quality craftsmanship, that is sure to brilliantly illuminate any contemporary domain.
