The Metaponto from Artemide has been designed by Ernesto Gismondi. This luminaire is great for outdoor ambient lighting. This multi-functional luminaire is comprised of three independently controlled spot lights. The body of this light is made of extruded aluminum and projector spotlight bodies are in die-cast aluminum in green powder coated finish, with transparent molded tempored glass in red, blue and green. The Metaponto is an apparatus consisting of parabolic projecting reflectors and dichroic filters. Halogen lamp sources are controlled seperately and simultaneously by a patented microprocessor. From a distance, a remote control acts on a receiver sensor, also enclosed in the luminaire and connected to the microprocessor. Twelve different color atmospheres are already pre-programmed in the microprocessor and can be selected on the remote control by pressing a single button! The Metaponto exhibits a cutting edge and fascinating design, along with quality craftsmanship, that is sure to brilliantly brighten any contemporary atmosphere. UL listed.
