The Castore floor lamp from Artemide has been designed by Michele De Lucchi. This standing luminaire provides excellent diffused incandescent or halogen lighting. The castore's diffuser is made of white hand blown glass with external etched finish, while the stem of the lamp's upper section is made of steel tubing covered by white translucent molded polycarbonate, allowing for partial soft diffusion of the light from the diffuser. This floor lamp is controlled by a touch dimmer activated by a chrome steel ring that is positioned between the upper and lower stem sections. This modern light is a perfect accent to any contemporary space while providing elegant diffused lighting. Available in two sizes.
