The Absalom floor lamp from Artemide has been designed by Pierluigi Nicolin in 2005 . This fascinating floor lamp is perfect for indirect and diffused halogen lighting. The Absalom is composed of a transparent tube with a steel stem in pale gray finish with an upper tubular cap also in a pale gray finish housing a specular aluminum reflector. This standing luminaire also includes a red dichroic filter creating subtle gradation of shades of red within the acrylic tube which can be controlled with the sliding dimmer switch on the cord. With this floor lamp's exotic design and spectacular rays of red light, it is sure to be an attractive attribute to any environment.
