The Caboche Grande chandelier by Foscarini is probably the most beautiful modern chandelier on the market. It has been designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto in 2006. This spectacular chandelier is composed by transparent globes made of polymethylmetacrylate. A shade in white matt finish glass offers direct upward and downward light projection and diffusion throughout the space.

Caboche was chosen for the ADI Design Index 2006 as a result of the selection by the Osservatorio Permanente del Design, in view of the next edition of the Compasso d’Oro ADI, the twenty-first. The eminent selection process was conducted, like every year, by the 100 experts who constitute the Osservatorio. The Caboche lamp was designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto, and was presented for the first time in 2005 in the suspension version, becoming an immediate commercial and media success.
