The Shakti Sky suspension lamp by Kundalini has been designed by Marzio Rusconi Clerici in 1998. It is a suspended lamp with diffusers in laser cut plexiglas, inserted in a polished steel ring.
Story behind Shakti:
Light as vital force and creative energy: this is the idea laying behind the project of Shakti lamp, one of Kundalini's icon. Its dynamic and tapered shape, born from the fortunate thought of the designer Marzio Rusconi Clerici, makes this range of lights one of the leading projects of the company. Since 2001, the Shakti family grew and renewed itself, declining the original shape into a large and rich range of models, its main feature being made of a laser cut co-extruded Plexiglas tube. This new technology process allows Shakti to diffuse white light even in the colored versions. Whereas the floor version has a satin finished or chrome plated base and it's perfect for reading or creating a soft atmosphere, the suspended versions, Sky and Air, are differentiated by their diffuser which may be horizontal (Sky) or vertical (Air). The wall version gives the possibility to be displayed in different compositions. One of the most astonishing and harmonic recalls the organ pipes. Shakti is available in four different colors: white, orange, red and bouganville.
