Product Description:
The Foscarini Gea wall/ceiling light has been designed by Luca Nichetto and Gianpietro Gai. Gea has a flat surface in thermoformed methacrylate obtained by “deformation” and a glossy finish in white, cream or dark gray. It modifies itself naturally and plastically to accommodate and use an effcient circular light bulb. The lamp has proven to be extremely effective in terms of lighting performance. The light comes with an electronic ballast.
After the fanciful Foscarini lamps Rha, Thor and O-space, the two designers Luca Nichetto and Gianpietro Gai turned to the challenging task of a wall and ceiling lamp project. GEA, a lamp of pronounced graphic value that recalls optical art, is well suited to both domestic and public environments. It can characterize its surroundings discreetly or with decisive impact when mounted in a composition on the wall.
