The Echos floor lamp from Artemide has been designed by Jan Van Lierde. This floor standing lumininaire incorporates three independently activated light sources, which are great for indirect ambient lighting, indirect diffused wall washing fluorescent lighting, and direct low voltage halogen lighting. The Echos is composed of a variety of resources including: body in extruded aluminum with metallic gray lacquered finish, concealed top halogen reflector in anodized aluminum with bulb protected by glass shatter guard, fully adjustable reading light head in die-cast aluminum, wall washing light diffuser in ribbed transparent plexiglass and the floor base is made of heavy stamped steel. This floor standing luminaire offers versatility in design as well as in lighting schemes. On/off dimmer switches incorporated in body.
